Okay I need a spanking... I completely forgot about this blog and I have gotten so caught up in this life of mine. A lot has happened since my last post, but the best and most important thing of all is that AJ and I are expecting! Yes, I am 7 months pregnant with a son on the way. It is weird to love someone so much that you've never met, but I am crazy in love with this life growing in my belly and I am truly enjoying pregnancy.
I'm currently on bedrest so I have a little time to kill and will probably work on this blog a bit.
I have been busy! Since my last posting AJ and I have left Germany and are now living in the St. Louis area. The move has been fun, but we have been so busy trying to get settled and back to “normal”.
A few highlights from the past few months:
Our journey back to the states started with delays, long layovers and even longer flights. We made the best of it and managed to have a little fun!
Our flights went something like this, Germany, Baltimore (stayed the night), Chicago and St Louis. We only stayed in St. Louis for one day before the real fun began and we headed to Cali to start our "vacation". I think I just vegged out this week and hung out with family because I did not take one picture from our time in Cali.
After about a week in L.A we headed to Cancun to relax and just enjoy each other. I had been looking forward to this trip for soooooo long and we ended up being a little disappointed in how everything turned out.
Our hotel had construction going on, so the beach was pretty much off limits and we constanly heard noise from the trucks and workers on the beach. We ended up switching rooms and made the best of it. The food and drinks were delicious, so this kind of balanced things out.

Our last stop before heading "home" was to Vegas. AJ absolutely loves this place, so I threw him a 40th birthday party in the Boulevard Suite at Planet Hollywood. It was a lot of fun to plan and it turned out quite nice.
Just thought I'd share a few pictures from a little weekend trip AJ and I took not to long ago. We went to Rudesheim, which is about an hour away so it was local, but it was very relaxing and romantic.
As our time here in Germany begins to dwindle down to its last day, I've been thinking of the places that we must see before we leave Europe.
AJ and I came up with the idea of us each making a list of our top three "must see" places in Europe and to make it a priority for us to visit them before we head back to America.
Here are the three that I came up with:
1. Switzerland 2. Prague 3. Disneyland Paris : )
So, my question to you is "Where would you like to go?"

I’ve received a few e-mails asking me questions, so I figured I’d share some things about me and my life with the world.
First of all I’m in the military, I’ve been in the Air Force for about 9 years now and Uncle Sam and all of the wonderful tax payers of America are the reason I get to travel and live the wonderful, although not so glamorous life that I live.
I love my job and I am truly proud to serve my country – the military has its ups and downs, but I’ve experienced more good then bad and I absolutely love my job.
--- I’m currently in school and working towards my B.A in Communications with a minor in Sociology. One of my biggest regrets is not finishing up my degree sooner, but it is what it is.
School is my number one priority right now – we’ll be heading back to the states this year, so I’ll be buckling down and hopefully walking across that stage within the next year or so.
My ultimate goal is to complete my masters degree before my 35th birthday.
My Mom recently went back to school and got her bachelors degree, so she is my motivation and inspiration. I am so proud of her!
--- I’ve recently taken up photography. I’m hoping to take a class when we get back to the states, but for now I’ve just been doing a lot of reading and trying to figure out how to work my camera.
--- I’m a Golden Girls fanatic, I just can’t get enough of these ladies and I hope that when I reach the golden years of my life, that it is just as fun and fabulous as these women.

I know that not all Americans celebrate the 4th of July, but I proudly do. I truly love my country and am proud of the accomplishments and progress we have made. America is not perfect, but what country is?

There were no fireworks for us on the 4th, but we still had a great time. We headed to Innsbruck, Austria and Munich, Germany with some friends for the weekend.
Innsbruck is beautiful and very scenic. We stayed at the Hilton which was very nice and we had a great view of the Olympic Ski Jump.
We did a little sightseeing, picture taking and eating in Innsbruck. We were here only one night, but that was plenty of time to see the city and enjoy what it had to offer.
The next day we set off for Munich and stopped off at Dachau along the way. Dachau was the first concentration camp here in Germany.
Being at Dachau was very sad, and I honestly couldn't bring myself to see all of it. It was weird to stand in rooms where people were murdered and treated so badly. I didn't take to many photos here (it didn't feel right), but please feel free to Google Dachau if you are interested in learning more.
One positive thing about our trip to Dachau that made me smile and feel even more proud, was the liberation of the camp by the U.S
After Dachau, we continued with our drive to Munich. Munich is my FAVORITE city in the world, because this is where I truly fell in love with my Husband. We met in Turkei (Turkey) but we had only been dating there and we weren't so serious.
In 2006 I flew home to California to spend the holidays with my family. My original itenerary had me staying in California through New Years and returning shortly after, but I found myself missing AJ so much, I couldn't stand it.
Anyway, to make a long story short - I changed my plans at the last minute and flew to Munich to spend New Years with my baby. I departed LAX on December 30th 2006 and arrived at Munich on December 31. AJ met me at the Airport and we had just enough time to drop off my bags in the room and make it to the fairgrounds where they were having this huge celebration.
I just knew from that moment on that he was "the one" and that I couldn't see myself living a life without him.
Okay, so back to the trip. We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton which is outside of the city, but close to the U-Bahn (train/subway station). The trip in to town was about a 5 minute ride on the U3. Our friends really wanted to go to the Hofbräuhaus, so this was our first stop at Munich - actually it was our only stop (we spent a long time here).
The Hofbräuhaus is a brewery in Munich with a bit of history. The Hofbräuhaus in Munich was one of the beer halls used by the Nazi Party to declare policies and hold functions.
Today it is a tourist attraction and well known for great beer. It seemed a bit cynical to come here after visiting Dachau, but I tried my best not to look at it like that and just enjoy our time in Munich.
If the name sounds familiar it may be that you've seen a version of the Hofbräuhaus in Las Vegas.
We ran into some interesting people here, this guy here was getting married in one week and was celebrating with his buddies. He was from France, and he went around offering people cheese, bread and wine and asking for donations for his wedding. We gave him 2 Euro, because well, it was comical...

Overall, this was a great trip... I'm not sure where we'll be headed next, but I'm hoping it's Switzerland or Prague!
